UCSB Science is hiring two paid student communications assistants for fall 2026 through spring 2027. Students from all majors are encouraged to apply. Training is provided, and relevant experience can come from coursework, research, student organizations or personal projects.
Pay: $17.40 to $20 per hour
Hours: Approximately 6 to 10 per week, per position

Editorial and Web Communications Student Assistant
Help prepare clear, accurate and accessible webpages, newsletters and stories about UCSB Science research, people and programs.
Multimedia and Social Content Student Assistant
Help share UCSB Science research, people and events through short-form video, photography, graphics and accessible social content.
