UC Santa Barbara is preparing three coordinated faculty searches in quantum science as part of the first phase of a strategic cluster hire spanning the Department of Physics, the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

New faculty will join an interdisciplinary quantum research community connecting fundamental discovery, quantum materials, sensing, computation and hardware with leading research facilities and strong industry partnerships.
